Out With the Stolen in With the New

Quick reminder -when my ex initially moved out, he took my bike without my knowledge and I’m almost positive he gave it to his mistress. Total asshole move!

I did it – I bought my brand new, just out of the box bike and it is gorgeous!

You see, I am not great about exercising unless I enjoy what I’m doing. The last few years my pool was an awesome option, but I am not stressing myself over the cost and maintenance of a pool again! So, I chose my second favorite activity – bicycling 🚴🏼‍♀️. Of course, when I originally went looking, about 3 weeks ago, the bike guy wasn’t sure when they would have more stock – he was thinking July into August if he was lucky. I left a number with him thinking I’d hear something later this summer, but lo and behold the call came in yesterday that their stock had been replenished. Woo Hoo 📣. I rushed on down and selected the beauty you see above, and it is exactly the type of bicycle I like. I can’t wait to take it for a spin! Just not when it feels like 91% outside 🥵. #Youthful Body Journey

On another note, I finished my latest read that has inspired me to think bigger (not as crazy as Faye, the protagonist 😬) so am going to spend time ruminating on what I truly want to accomplish while reconfiguring my life. If you haven’t read it yet, check out The Golden Cage by Camilla Lackberg, especially if you’ve been burned by a partner or two 😁. It’s a great way to live vicariously through Faye’s revenge plot. You might find it inspiring as well 😉😉…
