Yep, we are dissecting my dream world again today. Iβm beginning to wonder if some underlying stress in my life is causing my sleeping brain to work overtime to solve problems, because I hardly ever feel rested π₯±.
First up is just a few of images and a feeling I was able to pull from my dream. The two overriding thoughts were of a boxer/boxing match and the color yellow, like bright sunlight yellow. Somehow the two were connected and I had failed to get the yellow (sunlight?) to the boxer on time and I was embarrassed and disappointed in myself. And I kept coming back to the same thing over and over even though I woke up a few times trying to escape the dream π. I tried a little googling to see if I could find out what the images meant, but sadly I got nowhere π€·πΌββοΈ.
I was finally able to move on to a slightly less weird dream but no less annoying in nature π. I was at a house that was mine, but of course looked nothing like mine, my sisters were visiting, and I was trying to decorate for Christmas (The Most Wonderful Time of the Year π) when my older sister decided to make a bed out of pillows, sheets and blankets on the floor of my walk-in closet. It looked pretty comfortable but all I could think was βI canβt get to my clothes π‘β. Meanwhile my younger sister started putting out Christmas tchotchkes on my dresser and the only apparent theme was 70βs kitsch. And some of the tabletop decorations didnβt even work! Although one that worked was a piece that rotated around a light and projected images on the wall. I quite liked that one. The one that needed to go was a plastic Santa that had a non-working bulb that I didnβt have a replacement bulb for (it really reminded me of something from my childhood). Another piece had Goofy and Mickey Mouse on either side of Snoopy, all wearing Santa hats. At least this image I can parse out because I decorate a lot with Peanuts, Snoopy and Woodstock more so, and my sister is a Mickey fanatic. My sleeping brain just connected the dots π! Unfortunately, I was getting annoyed because there was no thought behind the design, just a bunch of stuff plopped on my dresser. Then she insisted on hanging up a Christmas bathmat on my wall, which I promptly took down after being impressed that she hung the heavy thing with just on push pin (yep, my brain picks up on the strangest details π€¦ββοΈ). After placing the mat back where it belongs, the dream dissolved, and I woke up trying to hold on to the details of both dreams.
And now I am sharing them with you. I figure one day someone will be able to figure out the nonsense in my dreams π€ͺ!
Comments, as always, are open.
P.S. I almost forgot one more small dream that appeared to be prophetic. I dreamt I ran into my horse vet β Dr. Nicole β and she was on her way to an appointment, so I didnβt keep her. That was the dream. The next day I get a call from the guy boarding my horse and they had to have the vet out to check her out because she was getting colicky again. Coincidence π€? I think not.
