While it may not officially be Spring in the Northern Hemisphere, that hasn’t stopped the T-Ball league from starting up in my neighborhood 😁 (for those who don’t know/remember I’m across the street from t-ball fields). And because the house blocks the noise, I never know they’re playing until I see the cars parked outside 😆😆😆.
Also, sorry for bailing on Monday’s posting. I was in recovery from a five-year old’s birthday party 🥱. Not that I would change a thing because it was for my darling nephew but when you live alone and then spend hours with three energetic kids (indoors because, of course, rain), it’s A LOT. And the noise 😬. And the long drive. It takes a toll on an old woman! But it was worth it especially after my little monkey asked, “Can’t you just stay here with us?”. What can I say, the kid loves having me around (to torture) 🤷🏼♀️. Just like his older cousins used to, until they became grups (👍 if you know the reference 😁).
So, did anyone check out the reality shows I talked about last week or were you too put off by my descriptions? C’mon fess up…
There is a new one I’m considering called The Courtship which will air on NBC March 6th at 8 EST. Billed as a perfect mash-up of The Batchelor (not a fan) and Bridgerton (never saw) the descriptor reads:
“A group of eligible suitors vie to win the heart of a heroine in Regency-style England!”
Includes period clothing and everything. Sounds atrociously bad yet full of mocking potential (well for me anyway 😆). Who’s with me 🙋♀️? I will give episode one a shot and report back next week 😁.
Show’s I’m awaiting the return of: Extreme Sister’s (Season 2), I Love a Mama’s Boy (Season 3) and possible S’Mothered (Season 4). I watched some of S’Mothered season 3 and it’s enough for me to consider the next season. But I would recommend Extreme Sisters, which you can catch up on season one on TLC go. Let’s just say boundaries are nonexistent with many of these sisters 😬.
